[Images (clockwise from top): 1. hand drawn Homestuck board game - made up of winding and jagged paths to reach the Beat Mesa. Pathways are surrounded by drawings of different Homestuck scenes. 2. Close up of pawns for game - cardboard cutouts of each of the 4 kids on a circular platform in their color. 3. Another angle of the game board, this time with cards spread face up across it. These are again covered in Homestuck based drawings and text. 4. Close up of four of the cards from the last image: a. picture of Nepeta, text reads: “Update Your Shipping Wall” and “Rearrange players on board” b. picture of Midnight Crew, text reads: “The Midnight Crew” and “Roll once. Move backwards that amount. Roll again. Move forward that amount.” c. picture of the bunny Liv Tyler, text reads: “Put the Bunny Back in the Box” and “Roll. If you roll a 5 or better, everyone else moves back 1. Otherwise, move back 3” d. picture of Davesprite, text reads: “Doomed Timeline” and “Move back to where you were at the beginning of the turn and try again”]
So I spent an honestly embarrassing amount of time on this entry for the HSO Bonus round. Anyway, it’s a board game with incredibly basic rules (roll die, move that number of spaces, do what it says on space). You win if you make it to the Beat Mesa to cause the Scratch.
